HOST
(6 Month Sobriety Required)

If you would like to learn more about hosting, there is a useful guideline on how to host a meeting (from start to finish) here:  Hosting Guidelines

*Note: As part of a group conscious decision, an individual may only sign up to Host ONE Daily Reflections meeting a week and may only do one Host commitment per year.

*Note: On the last Sunday of each month, the Daily Reflections Meeting and the Beginners Meeting will be a Celebration Meeting Format instead. Please consider that if you sign up to host one of those two Sunday meetings.

*Note: Every Sunday, the Noon Step Meeting is a Tradition Meeting. Please consider that if you sign up to host the Noon “Step Meeting” on Sundays.

CO-HOST
(No Time Requirement)

Are you a newcomer or beginner looking to do some service with your homegroup? Maybe you are someone with some time who is curious about just where to begin with hosting an “online meeting,” and you want to learn more? Being a co-host is pretty simple, and ANYONE can do it! Being a co-host may involve such services such as copying and pasting Homegroup Announcements among other things in the chat box, lowering people’s hands and muting them after each share if it hasn’t been done already, and anything else a Host may need help with during the meeting. Please reach out below if you would like to be the co-host for any open slot that does not say “Fulfilled.”

More instructions on the controls of co-hosting, among some stuff to copy and paste in the chat while on a meeting can be found here: Hosting Guidelines

*Note: If you are signing up to co-host any of our meetings, especially the 8 am Daily Reflections, PLEASE be prepared to be able to share your screen for readings, copy and paste homegroup announcements in the chat, and to lower hands or mute people if needed. All of these tasks are much easier to do from a laptop or computer. Training is available if you are not sure of how to do these things.

GREETER
(No Time Requirement)

At in-person meetings, there are service commitments such as opening the door for fellows, making coffee, and cleaning up after the meeting is over. It is such a great way to do service, and it is a great way to really get Connected to your Fellows! Luckily, we have found a way to bring the spirit of those commitments into online meetings as well! Many people like to come on to our Hour of Power meetings early to chat, and many even stay on after the meeting for some extra fellowship. It is so important that everyone feels welcome when walking into the rooms of AA, and having a Greeter at every meeting is such a great way to make sure that happens. Being a Greeter is as simple as coming onto the meeting a little early (15 minutes early or so), and saying hello to everyone as they join the meeting, asking how someone is doing, reaching out to those that may need an extra hello.. and so on. And please, feel free to stay after the meeting too! If you would like to do some service and be a greeter at one of our meetings, please reach out below, anyone can do it!
